Has your car extended warranty expired yet? Yes, we’ve all had that call hundreds of times. Well, this time of year many “scammers” take the opportunity to call and pretend they are with the IRS and wanting to confirm your personal information. They may ask about your social security number, needing to confirm your bank numbers, and possibly even know who prepared your taxes so that it seems absolutely legitimate. However, the IRS will NEVER CALL YOU!! If they are needing further information or need to speak with you, they will send a letter in the mail. Don’t fall victim to this!! The IRS has posted many of the current scams that are happening. It is best to hang up!
